On September 28, 2018, the 2018 Dieshiqiao International Home Textile Culture and Tourism Festival was hosted by the Haimen Municipal People's Government, jointly organized by the Haimen Industrial Park Management Committee and the Haimen Tourism Bureau. The theme was “Cultural Tourism, Beautiful Life” in Nantong Jianghai. International Tourism Festival Haimen Sub-district National 4A-level tourist scenic spot - China Dieshiqiao International Home Textile City was grandly opened, and this tourism festival is also one of the series of activities of the 2018 Dieshiqiao Home Textile International Expo. Li Wenbin, deputy mayor of Haimen Municipal People's Government, Huang Jianhui, director of Haimen Tourism Bureau, Chen Donghua, executive deputy director of Haimen Industrial Park Management Committee, and Gu Xingbao, Dieshiqiao Market Management Committee, attended the opening ceremony. The heads of travel agencies from Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou and other Yangtze River Delta, East China and more than 300 tourists and friends from the friendly youth delegation from Bendigo City, Australia were invited to participate in the opening ceremony series.

Wang Guangwen, Director of Shanghai and Tianxia Travel Agency, delivered a speech on behalf of the travel agency; Mr. Chen Yun, General Manager of Shanghai Zibo Tourism Development Co., Ltd. and the 4A Scenic Spot of Dieshiqiao held the “Signing Ceremony of Tourism Strategic Cooperation of Haimen Dieshiqiao 4A Scenic Spot”. At the same time, Qin Peng, an outstanding entrepreneur of Dieshiqiao, a famous trademark of Jiangsu, and chairman of Meiluo Home Textiles, spoke as a representative of the merchant.

It is reported that the Dieshiqiao International Home Textile Culture and Tourism Festival is a highlight of the Haimen Branch of the Nantong Jianghai International Tourism Festival. Before the opening ceremony, the cheongsam show, the blue print tie-dye and the song and dance show were performed. After the opening ceremony, the home textile brand show was held. The whole event lasted for one week. During the period, the exhibition was held for the majority of tourists.
